Before we decided to develop the new applications, we reviewed existing applications such as Smart Parks, Earth Ranger, Cybertracker and others. 

For various reasons, the existing applications did not meet our needs.  Our biggest concern was data security. In addition, there were complicated applications with outdated programme structures. The biggest obstacle, however, was that all applications only work with a data line.

In certain areas, however, this is only possible with a very high financial outlay. In our opinion, all these reasons are responsible for the fact that so little data is collected. 

So, we decided to develop an application that meets professional standards. High reliability, high data security, and easy to use for local staff.

The application has a modular structure.

Different modules can be subscribed to depending on requirements.

The rights of the individual users and tablets are allocated by a sophisticated distribution system according to the client's specifications.

Every employee can operate this tool. We speak from experience: The oldest employee of a Reserve had the best target values!

The applications have been in use since April 2022. First as a project, then as a professional application. The test phase was successfully completed in May 2023. The system was operated for 6 months without any downtime. The acceptance among the employees is very high, as the operation is very simple, and easy to master.

The application is built as a cloud application. 

Simply explained, the data collected is stored in a secure cloud. The administrator has access to this data via his desktop. The systems of collection and analysis are separate. This massively increases the security level.

Another advantage of the cloud application is that no programmes need to be installed.

As a unique selling point, the application also works when there is no data line (WiFi or Mobile). The data is captured and stored. As soon as a data line is available, the data can be synchronised. This means that work can continue even if the data line fails at short notice. This is a significant advantage with Gate Security!
